Dear Bid Committee Members,

On behalf of the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce, it is with pleasure that we extend our support for the Moncton-Saint John bid to host the 2029 Canada Summer Games.

The Canada Summer Games represent more than just athletic competition; they are a celebration of community, culture, and the spirit of our nation. Hosting this prestigious event in Moncton and Saint John would provide an extraordinary opportunity to showcase the diverse and vibrant cultural tapestry and businesses that make our regions so unique.

Moncton is a key economic and business hub in Atlantic Canada. Its diverse economy includes sectors like transportation, information technology, and retail. Moncton’s growing business-friendly environment, skilled workforce, and central location make it a prime destination for investment and development. Saint John is an industrial and commercial hub. The city’s economy thrives in sectors like energy, manufacturing, and technology. With business-friendly policies, a skilled workforce, and a growing infrastructure, Saint John offers strong opportunities for investment and growth.

Both cities have a rich history of hosting major events, with Saint John previously hosting the 1985 Canada Summer Games and Moncton being a hub for various international sports events. The collaborative spirit between these cities fosters a strong community engagement, which is crucial for the success of such a large-scale event. With their proven track record and commitment to excellence, Saint John and Moncton are poised to deliver an unforgettable Canada Summer Games experience.

At the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce, we proudly support the 2029 Canada Summer Games.

The business community is eager to help and engage this renowned event coming to the area.

We are incredibly excited about the possibility of welcoming participants and fans to our community. Our province is passionate, and we believe we can provide an exceptional experience.

Thank you for your time and attention.
