SAINT JOHN, NB – The Saint John Region Chamber Board of Directors is announcing today that CEO Tracy Bell is transitioning from her post to pursue a new opportunity, effective at the end of November.

Tracy joined the Chamber as CEO in March, following a role as co-founder and CEO of Saint John start-up Millennia Tea. She has accepted a new role serving Atlantic Canada at the Wallace McCain Institute.

“This has been a year of meaningful progress for the Chamber under Tracy’s tenure, demonstrating the important role the Chamber plays in the Greater Saint John community. We are sorry to see Tracy go but we want to congratulate her on this new opportunity,” said Fraser Wells, Chairperson of the Saint John Region Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

Carole Cunningham, Director of Events and Administration, will be appointed as Interim CEO. Carole brings over 30 years of experience with the Chamber, which will be invaluable in guiding the Chamber through this transition.

The Chamber will launch a search for its next CEO in the coming weeks.

The Chamber has seen membership grow by over 190 businesses in 2024, as well as the development of member-led committees in areas of advocacy, education, and member support.
